Picture
Nathan graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2002 with a master's degree in audiology. He is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is also board certified by the State of Montana. He previously worked in Cheyenne, WY, and Fort Collins, CO, where he provided audiological services and specialized in fitting digital hearing aid technology from multiple manufacturers. Nathan is originally from Absarokee and his wife Jamie is from Lewistown. They have two children and enjoy skiing, hiking, whitewater rafting, and spending time together as a family enjoying the wonderful state of Montana.

"I enjoyed the ten years I spent practicing in Wyoming/Colorado and utilized my experience there to grow immensely as a professional. However, as our children got older, my wife and I wanted to move back to Montana where we were both born and raised. We are excited to be in Bozeman and look forward to providing the community and surrounding area with the best hearing care available."

Experience Matters

The staff at Treasure State Hearing consists of an audiologist that has over 12 years of experience providing audiologic services to the hearing impaired. Additionally, the staff can objectively determine which hearing systems are the most effective for each individual patient by working with multiple manufactures. A thorough examination and patient education are the cornerstones to providing top-level hearing care. In cases where medical attention is needed, patients will be referred back to their primary care physician or directly to an Ear, Nose, & Throat physician. When amplification is appropriate the staff will help find a solution that fits both lifestyle needs and personal budgets.

Lifetime Hearing Plan

The goal at Treasure State Hearing is to provide each patient with the best hearing care possible. Purchasing hearing aids is an important yet difficult decision. The staff at Treasure State Hearing does not intend to pressure you into a quick decision but rather educate each patient concerning their hearing loss and offer hearing aid solutions when appropriate. It has been shown that long-term benefit from hearing aid use can only be acheived through proper followup treatment. The Lifetime Hearing Plan (LHP) was constructed to ensure each patient receives the maximum benefit from their purchase. The LHP consists of a series of steps and procedures designed to provide patients with a long-term solution for their hearing loss and also give them the best followup care available. The LHP was designed to keep each patient's equipment running at top efficiency so they can enjoy a lifetime of better hearing.

The Lifetime Hearing Plan includes:

1) Annual hearing evaluation: Annual hearing tests will verify current hearing ability and allow the professional a template when performing adjustments.

2) Annual technology verification: Performing a professional check on the computerized settings of hearing aids ensures they are in good working condition.

3) Three maintenance exams per year: Scheduled hearing aid maintenance will be performed at the annual hearing evaluation and also on 4-month intervals.

4) Unlimited cleaning of your instruments: This involves a professional and thorough hearing aid cleaning beyond what can be typically performed at home. Clean hearing aids will work more efficiently and also prolong their life.

5) Two years of free batteries with every hearing aid purchase.
